Music Quilt

I finally finished my music quilt for my son.

It has the saying It's All About Music in the center squares and all around are highlights of his year at Stanford Music program Master's degree.

He graduates in June...Thank Goodness, I did it in time.....

It is my 2nd crazy quilt. It is black and white and very crazy.

I have 11 squares finished. I need to make about 20 more squares .

Hi, I did it! I finished my very first crazy shortcut quilt. It was so much fun. I added a few cat appliques for my granddaugher.

Thank you Marguerita for your help. I am now feeling so much more confident to make another one.

My Inspiration

I am learning from the book called Crazy Shortcut Quilts.
I always wanted to learn to quilt but was so frustrated . This book teaches quilt as you go and it is a really fun way to sew.
I am enjoying it and hope to have a quilt soon.

My Quilting Fun

Hi, I am happy to be learning to quilt. I just purchased a book titled Crazy Shortcut Quilts.

It actually looks like something I can do..I love the book and hope to sew some quilts.

I bought some fat quarters from Joann Fabric store in beautiful greens and browns, my favorite colors. I will start my first project this weekend.
